Always on the lookout for another adventure, I couldnt resist an invitation to help launch a new semester program, so I joined the founding faculty at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, CO. A couple of years later, with the arrival of my daughter, the pull of living near grandmothers became powerful, and I found myself back in Vermontwhere I have remained, more or less, ever since, raising my family, teaching at Putney, and putting down roots.
